It’s safe to say that I waited too long to post this look since it’s gotten so cold here. But hopefully, some of you live somewhere where you can still get away with a similar outfit. If like me, you are somewhere where it’s clear that fall is in full swing and that winter is on its way you can still pull off a similar look. You can easily make this outfit more cold weather appropriate by adding a few layers. I really like the simplicity and effortlessness of this look. I think it’s great how a few basic pieces can be paired together to create an easy trendy look. Continue reading

Closet Staples
Hey guys! How’s everyone doing? Hope the answer is “great” or if you’re in school and it’s midterm season at least an “I’m surviving”. I’m also in midterm season and it’s a busy time so I’ll be keeping my post shorter than usual. Hope that’s cool with you guys but the pictures are the best part anyways, right? Continue reading
Falling for Fall Fashion at Place D’Orleans

Fall is finally here!!! We’ve already talked about why I love fall and fall fashion so much (if you missed that convo read it here). But this fall, I have even more of a reason to be excited for the season thanks to Place D’Orleans‘ “Fall for a Fabulous Find”campaign. Place teamed up with myself, Alyssa Beltempo, Emily Smith and Erin Elizabeth and challenged us to style our best head to toe fall outfit with pieces we could find at the mall. I was so thrilled at this opportunity because of course I love a good fashion challenge and Place is somewhere I go to quite often since it’s in my area, and did I mention that I love fall fashion!? Back to School with Simons
Who’s ready to go back to school!? Are you raising your hand? No? Me neither. I used to like going back to school when I was in high school, hmmm actually make that elementary school. Back to university just marks the beginning of stress season, all nighters, eating terribly, looking like a zombie with unwashed hair…should I go on? As much as school can be a complete and total pain, I always try to remember how lucky I am to have the opportunity to go to school and how valuable education is. Continue reading
Outfit Round Up: Bluesfest 2016
Hey guys! In my last post,I shared an outfit with you that I styled for Bluesfest. Like I mentioned last time, it was my first time attending the festival and I had a blast!! My favourite shows were Belly (surprisingly), The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Nelly. I would’ve definitely added Drake to that list had he shown up as the surprise guest at the Future show like the rumours were saying. I’m not even going to go into that because the disappointment was soooo real *ugly cries*. Continue reading
My Top 5 Favourite Things About Fall Fashion
This is my first official fall post, so I put together this look that I felt was pretty appropriate for fall considering the colours and fabrics of the pieces I styled together. If we’re considering the fact that this “sweater” (can I even call it that?) is sleeveless and that I’m wearing sandals, then maybe it’s not so fall appropriate but we do get those random days where the weather is quite co-operative. If not, you could easily add on a jacket and swap out the sandals for some ankle booties.
Lavender Cruiser
About three weeks ago, my boyfriend surprised me by renting these super cute bikes for us to ride around the city on our anniversary. I’ve been wanting to do so forever so I was really excited to finally be getting it done! I think there are a couple of companies in the city that do public bike rentals, but now that I’ve seen how cute these bikes are and how easy it was to rent with Right Bike, I’ll definitely be sticking with them. End of Summer Haul
Can we just have a moment of silence for the summer that was. I could just cry thinking of the cold ahead. I do love fall though! Fall fashion is definitely my fave, but let’s be real, fall in Ottawa is more like a fling. Winter is the real commitment if you ask me. I’m sending off the summer by sharing with you some of the newest beauty and fashion items I’ve purchased this summer. Continue reading
Locks of Love
Hi everyone!! Hope you’ve all been enjoying your summer. If not, hop to it! Do something you’ve been wanting to do before the cold is back, because it’s right around the corner (unless you like the cold, I’m not a fan -_- ).
I wore this look out on two occasions, first on a night out in Montreal and then to a networking event and I got a great response. I usually shy away from this dress shape, I think many girls tend to as well. Continue reading
A Montreal Wedding
This past weekend I was in Montreal to attend a wedding. I had the best time, and everything from the venue to the flowers and of course the bride were beautiful!! As per usual I was enjoying myself too much to take pictures of everything but I did make sure to quickly shoot my outfit in the parking lot. I had to share this look with you all because I looove this dress and not gonna lie I was definitely feeling myself that day :P. Continue reading
