A couple of weeks ago my lovely blogger friend Katie of Yow City Style contacted me for a festival fashion collab. She challenged me to style my best festival outfit with pieces I could find at the Bayshore Shopping Centre for her take over of the Bluesfest fashion instagram account. For those who don’t know, Bluesfest is a 10 day music festival here in Ottawa that features a range of different awesome artists every summer. This year will actually be my first time attending (for my Ottawa people I know I’m crazy! I’ve lived here forever and have never made it out), so I was really excited to get my outfits ready and do this collar

I did some shopping at Bayshore and this is the look I came up with. I’m obsessed with this dress! It has the perfect boho, flowy, comfy vibes for a festival and I’m absolutely in love with all its crochet details. Just try to tell me this isn’t the perfect dress to dance and twirl around in (but like definitely wear some shorts under, protect your cookie ok!). I had this idea to mix metals and add some colour to the look since the dress is white, so I went a little crazy with it by adding some rose gold sunnies, this silver backpack, mixed layered jewelry and gold flash tattoos that are kind of necessary for festivals.
