Hey guys! How are you all? Anyone else suuuper excited that it’s finally actually looking like spring here?! Mother Nature has been playing us lately with last minute snow storms, freezing rain and fake sunshine, but finally the temperatures are climbing. It’s Friday, December 18th, that means only one week until Christmas!! That sentence either a) excited you and made you jump for joy or b) struck fear and panic into your soul! How To Sport Luxe

In my last post I mentioned that I had gotten together with a few local bloggers a while back to work on a project, so today I’m sharing the details of that with you. The project we worked on was a fall/winter lookbook where we each styled key pieces and trends for fall and winter. I was assigned the sports luxe trend and was only too happy to know that I would get to style my Nikes outside the gym (but to be real I have not yet worn them to the gym). They’re my “fashion sneakers” I got for the sole purpose of styling looks like this one. “You look Amish.” That’s the lovely comment I got from my mother when she first saw me in this hat 😂. My answer: “Bishh swerve!!” No I’m kidding! She would’ve killed me. It went more like this: “Well I’m the cutest Amish I’ve ever seen, so bye Felicia!” My mom literally comes up with the funniest ways to describe some of the pieces in my closet, especially the ones she’s not so fond of. Another one of my favourite examples is her calling Harem pants “diarrhea pants”. Yup that’s what I deal with lol. Anyone else have a family member that just doesn’t understand your style?
