Review: Ena by Omorfie

IMG_7094

Hey guys! Hope you’re all doing well! I’m back today to share with you all another review, except this time, we’re talking beauty tool rather than a product. A few weeks ago I was asked by the team at Omorfie to try out their newly released straightener (Ena) and share my thoughts with you guys. So here goes!

When they first contacted me, my first thought was how much better/different could this thing be compared to the one I already have? But since I’ve had my current straightener for over eight years now I thought it might be nice to try out a new one, so I agreed. Continue reading

B&W Street Style

FullSizeRender-5Hey guys! Hope you’re all having a good week so far. I swear I’ve been trying to get this post up for like five days straight now. If you’re in school as well, I’m sure you’re all too familiar with the “I should be studying” guilt I’ve been feeling (and currently feeling), especially around this time of year. But my brain needs a break so I decided to quickly get this post up for you guys. Hopefully, it will inspire your exam season style and we can all pretend like we have our ish together in our cute outfits. Continue reading

Review: Nuxe – “I Am Prodigious” Gift Set

IMG_6940

Hi guys! I’m back with another review already. I’ve been trying out these Nuxe products from the “I am prodigious” gift set for about a month now, so I thought it was about time to share my thoughts and prevent you from making the same mistakes I made…it’s not all bad but some shade will be thrown. Before any tea is spilled, let’s talk about what’s included in the gift set.

Review: Eva NYC Clean It Up Shampoo & Soften Up conditioner

img_6849

Happy Sunday! Hope you are all doing well. I thought it was about time I stopped neglecting that beauty tab and share with you some more beauty content. So here I am today with a review of two of the Eva NYC products that I’ve tried.

The team at Eva NYC contacted me back in July last summer asking if I wanted to try their Clean It Up Shampoo and Soften Up Conditioner. At the time, they were launching them to Costco Canada and wanted to have me share the news on my socials. Continue reading

The Burgandy Saddle

img_6489

Hi everyone! I’m back on the blog sharing another outfit with you all. I really love the vibe of this outfit. You guys know how much I love to mix dressier elements with more casual laid back ones, which of course is what I’m doing here again. I’m really enjoying pairing my Adidas with these leather joggers, I think this combo screams comfort and is quite cool, if I do say so myself! Another combo I also seem to be enjoying, is wearing a coat over Continue reading

Grey Layers

fullsizerender-18

Hey guys! How are you all? It’s been a while since I’ve posted. School took over my life even more than usual this time around, but I’m done my exams and ready to get back to blogging. To get back into the swing of things, I thought I’d finally share this look I shot back in October (yup it’s been that long). At this point in the year, it’s not the most weather appropriate outfit but a few added layers and a different shoe choice would easily make this look more winter friendly, especially on a day like today when we’re being blessed with positive temperatures!   Continue reading

#PDOBlackFriday: Deals Under $50

IMG_6655.jpg

Happy Black Friday!! If you follow me on my socials (if you don’t you really should, links in the sidebar) you would have seen me mention that I was taking part in a Facebook Live event for Place D’Orleans, to preview the Black Friday deals they have going on today. Well, it happened last night and we had a blast!! I was initially really nervous about it, I hate public speaking, so I never really do anything like this. I never even talk in my Insta-stories (I hate the sound of my voice, I’m sure some of you can relate), but when the offer came up I couldn’t pass it up. I just thought of it as an opportunity to push myself out of my comfort zone and try something new! Continue reading

These Boots Were Made for Walking

fullsizerender-19

So apparently, these boots were made for walking because all the shots I liked from this outfit shoot were ones where I was mid-strut. I usually like to get a little more variety in the shots I share with you guys but we’re just going to have to work with what we’ve got. I clearly can’t get enough of these Aldo booties! They’ve quickly become a favourite of mine since they work with so many looks. The best part is that they are super comfortable, I’ve walked in them for hours before my feet have started to hurt. Definitely would recommend them!   Continue reading

S i m p l i c i t y

It’s safe to say that I waited too long to post this look since it’s gotten so cold here. But hopefully, some of you live somewhere where you can still get away with a similar outfit. If like me, you are somewhere where it’s clear that fall is in full swing and that winter is on its way you can still pull off a similar look. You can easily make this outfit more cold weather appropriate by adding a few layers. I really like the simplicity and effortlessness of this look. I think it’s great how a few basic pieces can be paired together to create an easy trendy look. Continue reading
