Hey guys! How are you all? Anyone else suuuper excited that it’s finally actually looking like spring here?! Mother Nature has been playing us lately with last minute snow storms, freezing rain and fake sunshine, but finally the temperatures are climbing. Have you ever worn a coat any other colour than your typical black or grey and felt like you stood out like a sore thumb? That’s how I felt the day I wore this coat; like a white dot in a sea of darker dots swimming through the mall. It had me feeling like all eyes were on me (that was probably in my own head, you know that whole spotlight effect we all experience). How To Sport Luxe

In my last post I mentioned that I had gotten together with a few local bloggers a while back to work on a project, so today I’m sharing the details of that with you. The project we worked on was a fall/winter lookbook where we each styled key pieces and trends for fall and winter. I was assigned the sports luxe trend and was only too happy to know that I would get to style my Nikes outside the gym (but to be real I have not yet worn them to the gym). They’re my “fashion sneakers” I got for the sole purpose of styling looks like this one. My Top 5 Favourite Things About Fall Fashion

This is my first official fall post, so I put together this look that I felt was pretty appropriate for fall considering the colours and fabrics of the pieces I styled together. If we’re considering the fact that this “sweater” (can I even call it that?) is sleeveless and that I’m wearing sandals, then maybe it’s not so fall appropriate but we do get those random days where the weather is quite co-operative. If not, you could easily add on a jacket and swap out the sandals for some ankle booties.

About three weeks ago, my boyfriend surprised me by renting these super cute bikes for us to ride around the city on our anniversary. I’ve been wanting to do so forever so I was really excited to finally be getting it done! I think there are a couple of companies in the city that do public bike rentals, but now that I’ve seen how cute  these bikes are and how easy it was to rent with Right Bike, I’ll definitely be sticking with them.
