The day I took these photos, I realized that my mom may be just a little cooler than I am. If you’re into fashion and have been on the internet at all, you’ll know that puffer jackets have been quite popular for a while now. At first, I wasn’t really feeling the trend but it has grown on me after seeing all the cool ones available and how people have styled them. Hey guys! How are you all? It’s been a while since I’ve posted. School took over my life even more than usual this time around, but I’m done my exams and ready to get back to blogging. To get back into the swing of things, I thought I’d finally share this look I shot back in October (yup it’s been that long). At this point in the year, it’s not the most weather appropriate outfit but a few added layers and a different shoe choice would easily make this look more winter friendly, especially on a day like today when we’re being blessed with positive temperatures! In my last post I mentioned that I had gotten together with a few local bloggers a while back to work on a project, so today I’m sharing the details of that with you. The project we worked on was a fall/winter lookbook where we each styled key pieces and trends for fall and winter. I was assigned the sports luxe trend and was only too happy to know that I would get to style my Nikes outside the gym (but to be real I have not yet worn them to the gym). They’re my “fashion sneakers” I got for the sole purpose of styling looks like this one. I’ll let you know when I decide to actually be active and sweat in them, but don’t hold your breath.
