“You look Amish.” That’s the lovely comment I got from my mother when she first saw me in this hat 😂. My answer: “Bishh swerve!!” No I’m kidding! She would’ve killed me. It went more like this: “Well I’m the cutest Amish I’ve ever seen, so bye Felicia!” My mom literally comes up with the funniest ways to describe some of the pieces in my closet, especially the ones she’s not so fond of. Another one of my favourite examples is her calling Harem pants “diarrhea pants”. Yup that’s what I deal with lol. Anyone else have a family member that just doesn’t understand your style? My Top 5 Favourite Things About Fall Fashion

This is my first official fall post, so I put together this look that I felt was pretty appropriate for fall considering the colours and fabrics of the pieces I styled together. If we’re considering the fact that this “sweater” (can I even call it that?) is sleeveless and that I’m wearing sandals, then maybe it’s not so fall appropriate but we do get those random days where the weather is quite co-operative. If not, you could easily add on a jacket and swap out the sandals for some ankle booties.
Lavender Cruiser
About three weeks ago, my boyfriend surprised me by renting these super cute bikes for us to ride around the city on our anniversary. I’ve been wanting to do so forever so I was really excited to finally be getting it done! I think there are a couple of companies in the city that do public bike rentals, but now that I’ve seen how cute these bikes are and how easy it was to rent with Right Bike, I’ll definitely be sticking with them. End of Summer Haul
Can we just have a moment of silence for the summer that was. I could just cry thinking of the cold ahead. I do love fall though! Fall fashion is definitely my fave, but let’s be real, fall in Ottawa is more like a fling. Winter is the real commitment if you ask me. I’m sending off the summer by sharing with you some of the newest beauty and fashion items I’ve purchased this summer. Continue reading
New York Photo Diary
Hey guys! Today I’m sharing little snippets of my New York trip with you all. I travel there pretty often, usually once or twice a year since I have family out there. Because I’m there often, there will most likely be other New york posts in the future, so I figured the best way to share my trip with you is through this little photo diary. Continue reading
Locks of Love
Hi everyone!! Hope you’ve all been enjoying your summer. If not, hop to it! Do something you’ve been wanting to do before the cold is back, because it’s right around the corner (unless you like the cold, I’m not a fan -_- ).
I wore this look out on two occasions, first on a night out in Montreal and then to a networking event and I got a great response. I usually shy away from this dress shape, I think many girls tend to as well. Continue reading
A Montreal Wedding
This past weekend I was in Montreal to attend a wedding. I had the best time, and everything from the venue to the flowers and of course the bride were beautiful!! As per usual I was enjoying myself too much to take pictures of everything but I did make sure to quickly shoot my outfit in the parking lot. I had to share this look with you all because I looove this dress and not gonna lie I was definitely feeling myself that day :P. Continue reading
June Uniform
This outfit was basically my uniform last month. I wore it on my birthday, out shopping and even to run random errands. I’ve sported it so many times I’ve had to put it into retirement….at least for a little while. I think we all have those outfits that we just feel great in and can’t help wearing again and again. Continue reading
Black & White
Happy Friday!! Hope you’ve all had a good week and are ready for the weekend. There are so many events going on in the city this weekend, from Ribfest to Glowfair and Carivibe, there’s so much to choose from. I wore this outfit a while back, but I think it might be a good one for any of you to take inspiration from Continue reading
Mexico
Hey loves! Hope you’re all doing well. I’m home from Mexico, I have been for a little while now, but ended up getting sick once I returned 😦 . I’m better now and just thankful I wasn’t sick during the trip! As promised, I’m sharing my travels with you all with a few pictures. Continue reading
