Hey Guys! Are you loving the fact that it pretty much looks like it’s December all over again outside!? No? Me neither! I went to Jamaica 2 weeks ago (blog post on that coming soon), but that quick escape wasn’t enough! My tan is already fading more than I would like, so I’m desperate for more sunshine. But since we’re not there yet, I thought I would share with you all one of my favourite pieces this season.

I got this teddy bear coat as a Christmas gift and if you lived in the same apartment complex as I do, you would’ve heard the excitement when I opened it. I had been lusting after it since I first spotted it at Topshop. I couldn’t justify the price and getting another non Ottawa winter appropriate coat because I definitely have enough of those.  What I should’ve been looking for is something that would actually keep me warm, but Santa decided to treat me so no complaints! And anyway my winter survival strategy this year was to spend the least amount of time outside as possible, so really this cozy teddy is perfect.

I can’t remember where I wore this outfit to, but since getting this coat my uniform has pretty much been some variation of this outfit. What I love about this one in particular, is the mix of textures and that it’s my perfect colour palette. But really it’s because it’s such an easy, comfy and even lazy outfit that doesn’t look it at first glance.
