I’ve been staring at my laptop screen for way longer than I’d like to admit, trying to figure out what the hell to write about today. It’s been a real struggle, but the blogging gods have answered my prayers because frankly they’re probably sick of my whining and now I have so much to say my hands can’t type fast enough to get it all out. I’m gonna pipe down, have some food and I’ll get back to this a little less hangry (It’s a real thing, google it).

Ok, feeling better thanks to the chilli bowl bigger than my head I just enjoyed. First lets chat about this look. I styled this outfit with very little thought when I was rushing over to Oh So Good to meet up with a group of bloggers for a project we were planning. I wanted to go for an all-white look but keep it casual (what else is new) and not in your face, because I think all-white looks can sometimes look that way. I toned it down by adding this grey coat and scarf that I love!

So like I said, I met up with some other Ottawa bloggers that day and have been doing so pretty often over the last little while. One of the reasons I started blogging was to be able to meet and surround myself with stylish, like-minded people and to stop boring my sister and mostly my boyfriend with all my fashion talk. But if we’re being honest, blogging has probably made it worse because they are both my photographers and styling assistants now. Anyway, it’s been really great to meet and get to know the ladies of the Ottawa blogging community. They are some of the nicest, most diverse and interesting group of people I’ve met in a long time. It’s been great to talk to them and get to know the personalities behind the Instagram posts. We’ve shared our tips, struggles and awkward blogging moments and I’ve had so much fun doing so. If you’re a blogger, or have any sort of hobby or something you enjoy doing, go out and find other people that enjoy those same things. Trust me when I say you might be pleasantly surprised with what you find!
