Remember in the last post how I said that now of all times I’m loving wearing skirts and dresses? Yaaaa, I wasn’t joking. Here I am in a sleeveless dress like it’s May and not mid December (YAY for the above zero temperatures we’ve been having!!). I still need to remind myself that its cold and winter dressing time. I could’ve been a little warmer in this look but I was pretty comfortable thanks to some secret layering tricks. Want to know what they are? (I ask like I’m not just about to tell you anyway). I’ve been staring at my laptop screen for way longer than I’d like to admit, trying to figure out what the hell to write about today. It’s been a real struggle, but the blogging gods have answered my prayers because frankly they’re probably sick of my whining and now I have so much to say my hands can’t type fast enough to get it all out. I’m gonna pipe down, have some food and I’ll get back to this a little less hangry (It’s a real thing, google it). Continue reading
“You look Amish.” That’s the lovely comment I got from my mother when she first saw me in this hat 😂. My answer: “Bishh swerve!!” No I’m kidding! She would’ve killed me. It went more like this: “Well I’m the cutest Amish I’ve ever seen, so bye Felicia!” My mom literally comes up with the funniest ways to describe some of the pieces in my closet, especially the ones she’s not so fond of. Another one of my favourite examples is her calling Harem pants “diarrhea pants”. Yup that’s what I deal with lol. Anyone else have a family member that just doesn’t understand your style? This is my first official fall post, so I put together this look that I felt was pretty appropriate for fall considering the colours and fabrics of the pieces I styled together. If we’re considering the fact that this “sweater” (can I even call it that?) is sleeveless and that I’m wearing sandals, then maybe it’s not so fall appropriate but we do get those random days where the weather is quite co-operative. If not, you could easily add on a jacket and swap out the sandals for some ankle booties.
About three weeks ago, my boyfriend surprised me by renting these super cute bikes for us to ride around the city on our anniversary. I’ve been wanting to do so forever so I was really excited to finally be getting it done! I think there are a couple of companies in the city that do public bike rentals, but now that I’ve seen how cute these bikes are and how easy it was to rent with Right Bike, I’ll definitely be sticking with them. Hi everyone!! Hope you’ve all been enjoying your summer. If not, hop to it! Do something you’ve been wanting to do before the cold is back, because it’s right around the corner (unless you like the cold, I’m not a fan -_- ).
I wore this look out on two occasions, first on a night out in Montreal and then to a networking event and I got a great response. I usually shy away from this dress shape, I think many girls tend to as well. Continue reading
This outfit was basically my uniform last month. I wore it on my birthday, out shopping and even to run random errands. I’ve sported it so many times I’ve had to put it into retirement….at least for a little while. I think we all have those outfits that we just feel great in and can’t help wearing again and again. Continue reading
Happy Friday!! Hope you’ve all had a good week and are ready for the weekend. There are so many events going on in the city this weekend, from Ribfest to Glowfair and Carivibe, there’s so much to choose from. I wore this outfit a while back, but I think it might be a good one for any of you to take inspiration from Continue reading
Happy Monday, friends! Hope your week is off to a good start. If not, I hope this post makes it a little better, after all there’s nothing like finding some good outfit inspo…or is that just me? I wore this look out to a celebratory sushi lunch last week and as usual I kept it simple but chic. Continue reading
