Blue Summer

Hey guys! Happy Friday! So I think it’s fair to say that blue is one of my favourite colours to wear. It’s looking like my replacement for black this summer since I’m wearing my usual amount of white. I’ve been finding myself wearing lots of blue this summer, especially following the last Place d’Orleans campaign I did. I really enjoyed this outfit, I think it’s perfect for an afternoon walking around the market or a shopping day or really any casual event you might be attending this weekend.  I feel like I say that a lot, but I’ve actually worn this look twice so far this summer, once for brunch and once to run errands around town, so it really is versatile. If you read that post from the Place d’Orleans campaign, you’ll know the go-to ways I like to style my blue pieces. For this look, I managed to include two of my go-to’s, by pairing this blue shirt with white shorts and working in the monochrome styling by adding this navy bag.

Actually, let’s talk about this bag! It’s one of my favourite ones I own. I’ve listed it as thrifted below to make things easy, but really I found it while digging through my mom’s old stuff and had to have it since it totally reminds me of the Céline box bag. I love the short strap on it, that worn cross body like I have for this outfit makes it look a little bit like a fanny pack which gives me all the 90’s feels lol. Finding really cool pieces like this bag is what makes me never want to get rid of my clothing. I’m always like “But my future daughter might think it’s really cool and be so happy I kept it …whaaaaa”. And now you know what a hoarder sounds like.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post! Happy weekend xo
