Long Weekend Blues

FullSizeRender-2-1

Hey guys, happy Friday! Hope you’re all doing well and are ready to enjoy the long weekend! It’s still May so I’m back on the blog to share my second blue outfit as part of the Place d’Orleans find your colour campaign (if you have no clue what I’m talking about, read this!).

Like I mentioned before, blue is quite easy to add to your closet. And that’s especially true when you do so by using blue denim pieces. No matter the season, denim everything is always on trend and is not going anywhere. For spring/summer, we’re talking denim shorts, skirts, dresses and even light denim jackets like the one I’m wearing here. For this look, I paired this light denim washed jacket with this super cute pin-striped top for some blue on blue action. Speaking of this top, I have to mention how much I love pin-striped tops, especially when they come in blue. This one gives me cute sailor vibes, I’d love to wear it on a yacht in Miami (I neeeed a vacation!) paired with some cut-off shorts instead and minus the jacket of course. If the yacht life isn’t in your future, this print is also super versatile and could even be appropriate for your work wear. I have a button down in the same print and color that would work great for the office but that can also be worn casually.

So what do you guys think of this blue look? It’s a good “enjoying the weather walking in the market and holding hands with bae” outfit if you ask me ;). Whatever you decide to wear or get up too, I hope you have a great long weekend!! xo
