Hey guys! Today I wanted to quickly share my top 3 current favourite NYX products with you all. I’m not currently a huge makeup junkie (but I’m open to it). I stick with what I know and only once in a while do I try out new products (mostly if I’m getting ready with a friend and ditch my makeup bag for theirs or when I’ve run out of a product and randomly feel like trying something new). But this time around I made these purchases while fueled by the boxing day high I was on last December and the hundreds of beauty vlogger recommendations I’d gotten via youtube. We also happened to have just gotten an NYX store in one of the malls in my city, so it was the perfect time to try out more of their stuff.

Here are my top 3 faves of the moment:

I friggen love this product!!! It’s NYX’s setting spray in the matte finish and it’s just great. I have super oily skin, especially around my T-zone. So a lot of the time my makeup slides and is broken up by the oils and by the end of the day I end up with pretty much nothing on my face. But using this spray has made SUCH a difference! It keeps me matte (like a nice, not dessert dry matte) and my makeup lasts sooo much longer. Definitely recommend if you want your makeup looking fresh all day. And for only $10 you can’t go wrong!

Number two on the list is the NYX HD photogenic concealer. First off, I really like the packaging. The concealers I’ve used in the past have all come in a squeeze tube, so I’ve been enjoying this change. I’m really liking that it’s a doe foot applicator so I can dot it exactly where I want.  It’s not just the packaging, I really like the concealer itself! I find that it’s very blendable and has great, buildable coverage. I’m also really happy with the shade I got, the undertones are just right for my colouring. They seem to have a pretty good shade selection which is really nice to see. For reference, I got mine in CW 07 Tan.

My final favourite is the control freak eyebrow gel. Just like the name says, I randomly decided to become a control freak about my eyebrows and felt the need to purchase this. I can’t get as excited about this one because now that I’m thinking about it, it’s not the most necessary thing, is it? lol But either way, I do like and always reach for it. It does a good job keeping my brows in place without them feeling like hard, crunchy caterpillars. I like the look of my brows after using it and it’s great to achieve that brushed through thick brow look. So maybe not super necessary but still a fave.
