Locks of Love

Hi everyone!! Hope you’ve all been enjoying your summer. If not, hop to it! Do something you’ve been wanting to do before the cold is back, because it’s right around the corner (unless you like the cold, I’m not a fan -_- ).

I wore this look out on two occasions, first on a night out in Montreal and then to a networking event and I got a great response. I usually shy away from this dress shape, I think many girls tend to as well. It can sometimes look hospital gown-esque to me lol. I think the trick to these dresses is to add more elements and interest, especially for a plain one like this. On a positive note, this dress shape is great to hide food babies!

I love the soft pink colour, but I’m not into looking overly girly so I always like to throw in edgier elements when I feel like my outfit is heading too far in that girly direction. I was feeling like this look was heading that way (the pink and nude combo is pretty girly) so I threw on this edgy black leather jacket and bold minimal silver rings to toughen the look up a bit.
